Our beloved Lanny McPherson—a dedicated father, husband, and friend—has been battling brain cancer for over a year. This past week, his condition has taken a devastating turn, and he is now fatally ill.

Lanny is a pillar of the East New York community. He’s known for his big heart, strong work ethic, and deep love for his family and friends. Many of his friendships span over 30 years—testament to the kind of man he is and how deeply he’s loved by those around him.

Since his diagnosis, Lanny has been unable to work. His wife has carried the full weight of maintaining their home—juggling a demanding job, raising their children, and being Lanny’s primary caregiver. This has taken a significant emotional and financial toll on their family.

Now, as we face this heartbreaking moment together, we’re asking for your help. We are coming together as a community to raise funds that will go directly to supporting Lanny’s family—helping with medical costs, daily expenses, and easing the burden on his wife and children during this incredibly painful time.
