If you know Kim, you know her strength, warmth, and humor. In 2008 she faced salivary gland cancer head-on, enduring surgery, chemo, and radiation and by 2009, she was proudly cancer-free. But the years that followed brought new challenges: osteoradionecrosis in 2016, which caused the loss of her lower jaw bone, and most recently heart damage from chemo was discovered that requires a pacemaker.
Recently, Kim’s job was unexpectedly eliminated, and she hasn’t yet found new employment. With medical bills and the holiday season approaching, I'm hoping we can help ease her worry.
Kim is the kind of friend who cheers on everyone around her, lifting others up even when she’s fighting battles of her own. Now, it’s our turn to root for her. Thank you for showing Kim the same love and support she shows so freely to others.
