Let’s Show Kenny Fischer Some Love

 In the evening of August 25th, our beloved  Kenny was rushed to the hospital with a life threatening esophageal tear.  Within hours Kenny was having surgery to repair a 4 inch tear in his esophagus. His life was in God’s hands as well as the skilled surgeon, as the outcome was unknown to his family that was gathered in the waiting room.  Patti and his parents, Dale and Chi, were informed by the surgeons the esophageal tear could lead to a life threatening condition of the chest called Mediastinitis.  Following the surgery Kenny was admitted to Surgical Trauma ICU for 4 days where he faced many complications in his road to recovery.  During this time he had two chest tubes, partial lung collapse, pneumonia and many other medical setbacks but through all of this Kenny has continued to make slow progress.  Thank you to everyone who has prayed, visited and sent messages.  Your prayers have been and continue to be answered.   Kenny remains at Parkview Regional and has a long recovery ahead which will require further medical procedures and diagnostic tests. 

Many have asked me (his sister in law) how they can help.   I thought about this for a while and came to this conclusion:  what he and his family will need help with is financial support for the  guaranteed arrival of medical bills.    

Anyone who is blessed to know Kenny knows he is always there when you need him.  Let’s collectively be there for him during his time of need.  ❤️
