Have you ever bought anything at Publix or any grocery store? Can you picture that one cashier or bagger with a HUGE smile, and they may even give you a hug? That is my friend JUDY. She wants to know all of her customers WELL. And we want to know her well. When Judy isn’t at Publix, she teaches 2nd grade. This lady loves others and has a servant’s heart like no other. 

You wouldn’t know by looking at her beautiful, seemingly constant smile, but Judy is hurting. A few weeks ago, Judy bought a new town home and within days, it BURNT TO THE GROUND. Judy lost everything. This is after Judy has fought off cancer TWICE since 2013- she is currently 7 months in remission, praise God!

She needs clothes, a bed, pillows, book shelves, books, couches, kitchen appliances, a new place to live, and so much more. A life-time’s worth of stuff. 

This is such a heavy burden for Judy to carry and my prayer is that those of us who are able will come to her rescue, just as Christ constantly comes to my rescue and reminds me of His goodness in the midst of pain. And I pray that you would be reminded of God’s goodness in the midst of YOUR pain. God is still using you- when you are weak, He is strong. Let’s show Judy how strong God is in the midst of her weakness.
