Let's Save Lia and Hazel's Lives
Donation protected
Last month sweet 9 year old Lia fell off the trampoline and got a concussion. When they got the CT scan back, they saw something else (unrelated) and sent her to Primary Children’s for more testing.
A parents worst nightmare was confirmed when Lia was diagnosed with a rare, and serious progressive disease called MLD - Metachromatic leukodystrophy.
Lia will need lots of treatments including bone marrow, chemo, radiation, gene therapies.
Their family has spent the last month waiting in agony for the next steps hoping that one of her sisters would be a match.
Today the nightmare continues as they confirmed that their baby, Hazel, also has MLD and Olivia is a carrier (so she cannot be a donor).
She will also need the treatments, and therapies.
This family needs our help and support as they spent the next year separated from each other and fighting for their lives. It will be an emotional and physical journey.
Please lift the Christensen family in PRAYERS.
And help us raise money for them to chase any and every therapy and treatment there is.
Immediate need exceed 200,000.
