Let's Rebuild Cloverlick Together

LET'S REBUILD CLOVERLICK TOGETHER

6 years ago we turned an old abandoned, back alley, mechanics shop into a hub of connection, music and community. It was truly a labor of love and with hard work, good fortune and the help of many friends Cloverlick Banjo Shop in Fort Collins was born.
We are now so proud to be a well respected, old time handcrafted banjo shop to a new generation of players and artists.

In 6 yrs we have accomplished so many goals including :

* Building banjos for world class artists
* Hosting community events such as our Earth day festivals
* Hosting and organizing fundraisers for multiple local non profits
* Sponsoring and collaborating with various cultural / community enrichment
foundations
* Providing free space for children's recitals
* Providing a long standing dedication to the documentation and support of
working musicians.
* Professionally recording hundreds of artists in our Cloverlick Cache Series and
You Tube Channel

We do this from our own resources and our passion in nurturing community and our belief in the positive power of music and art in a complicated world.

We are now asking for your help.

Our lease ends in 2023 and we are unable to continue paying the ever increasing cost of rent and overhead for our shop space. If this trajectory is continued we risk losing everything we have worked so hard to build.

Our plan is to move and rebuild Cloverlick Banjo Shop at the Kinney Farm, so we can reduce overhead and continue to thrive.

We are calling this campaign “ Let’s Rebuild Cloverlick Together”

We have paid over $200,000 in rent and utilities since we opened shop. This is our main limitation to expanding our success and expanding our community programs.

Relocating the shop to the Kinney Farm is an ideal solution. Along with Rooster ; BJ and Gemma Kinney are the founders of Cloverlick Banjo Shop here in CO.
The Farm is already such a welcoming space for all and a haven for local and touring artists.
This will consolidate Cloverlick Banjo Shop and the Kinney Farm into one hub, providing security and sustainability for the long haul. We are so excited to combine our creativity in one location and continue to serve and inspire our community.

We will be salvaging a 100 year old structure and repurposing all the material that we can including old fence pickets and barn wood from around the state.

The new shop will be solar powered and heated by a pellet stove using recycled saw dust.

ESTIMATED BUILDING COSTS

• Structural lumber, fasteners, etc. = $21,000
• Concrete pour = $8,000
• Solar Array, batteries, inverter, charge controller, etc. = $17,500
• Windows, Doors and skylights = $3,800
• Metal roofing = $3,200
• Insulating panels, sheathing and decking = $6,300
• Energy efficient lighting and electrical = $5,000
• Specialized labor = $7,000
Total estimated material and labor cost = $71,800

We ask all of you to please consider our call for support to make this transition a financial reality.

We can only do this with your help.

We are dedicated to bringing more Art, Love and Joy to our wonderful Community.
This is our mission and our commitment. Join us and become a part of the continued legacy of Cloverlick Banjo Shop.

This move will also empower us to continue building our social programs and offerings. Including but not limited to:

And be able to further our contributions to non - profits like:
