Let’s rebuild after the fire devastation

Hi friends, my name is Jodie Moore and I’m fundraising for my Dad, Dean Henningsen, a small business owner in Hemet, California. The Fairview fire has currently burned 20,000 acres in a remote area of Hemet. Homes have been burned and lives have been lost as well as my Dads business which provides a vital service to his community. I can’t imagine losing a loved one to a fire. That is the worst outcome possible. Pollybutte Network was named after the mountain that it’s sits atop of. The network provides internet service to very remote areas of Riverside county that would otherwise be without internet service. Big companies like Spectrum won’t provide service to these remote areas as it is not cost effective for them. My Dad saw a need and has spent the last 20 years of his life devoted to providing this service to his community which include homes and businesses as well as farms and agriculture. Without this service, life cannot get back to normal for so many people that have been affected by the fires. My Dad is 69 years old and as his business was burning we as a family thought that maybe it was time for him to retire as we all worry about the dangers he faces maintaining his business. But after lots of tears, my Dad has decided to rebuild. His community needs his service, and he wants to help them. He’s not ready to call it quits, even after a fire.
