Let's rebuild a happy home

Tragedy struck a Northeast Elementry School, Stamford, CT family yesterday when a fire raged through an 8 year old student’s home, leaving his family with nothing. The Red Cross is helping his family with temporary placement in a hotel for the next few nights but their home is a complete loss, and items lost in the fire included his furniture, clothes and his toys. Starting immediately, Northeast is accepting any and all donations in the main office. Every donation will go directly to the family and every donation helps. The monetary burden is daunting to say the least as this family must now, most unexpectedly, find a new home and start over. The young man is in desperate need of clothes; he wears a size 12 pant, a 10/12 shirt and a size 5 shoe. And any toys will help ease the pain of such a horribly traumatic experience. Northeast Elementry school family and our partners witnin the community lets show that even in these troubled times, our compassion for each other perseveres.
