Let’s Rally to Help Maria Get Her Car Back — Time is Short!

I’m calling on our community to rally around Maria Jackson who has given so much of herself — and now needs our help. A dear friend of ours, who has spent years working in health care and uplifting others through her music and community work, is facing a sudden crisis. Her car was repossessed this week due to financial hardship, and without it, she’s at risk of losing even more stability. This car is her lifeline: it’s how she gets to work, supports her family, takes care of her health, and stays connected with all of us.

If you know her, you know her heart. She’s spent years caring for others — in hospitals, in our community, and through her powerful voice that brings people joy. Even while facing her own health struggles, she’s continued to raise up others and create light where it’s needed most.

Now, it’s our turn to show up for her. We have less than 2 weeks to raise around $10k to cover the costs and get her car back before it’s auctioned off. Once it’s gone, it’ll be much harder to recover.
