Please Support Cierra Gray and Her Family

Dear Friends, Family, La Mesa-Spring Valley School Community, and the Sharp Grossmont Hospital Staff,

 

We want to inform you of the unspeakable tragedy our beloved Cierra Gray has endured. With a heavy heart, we announce the sudden passing of Cierra Gray’s sister Francesca Gray. Her death was unexpected and, needless to say, a shock to the family. So much so that at the time of her passing Cierra’s mother, while attempting to revive her daughter by performing CPR, ruptured a blood vessel in her brain and suffered a stroke. As unimaginable as it seems, Cierra is simultaneously grieving the tragic loss of her sister while caring for her mother at her bedside in the ICU. It is simply too much for one person to bear.

 

The family is shocked and saddened by this loss and simply unprepared for the expenses they will incur. Many of you have reached out to us and have asked how you can help during this time. We want to honor the family’s wishes and assist in the financial planning of the celebration of life. We are asking for financial help for Cierra to offset the exorbitant cost of funeral arrangements in addition to any uncovered health care costs incurred during her mother’s hospital stay. Every little bit helps. If you are able to and comfortable doing so, the family would really appreciate any donation, big or small, towards the expenditures.
