Wow thank you so much everyone for your generous giving!
We have hit our first goal of $50 000.
Let's keep going and see what we can do for this awesome young man.
As family and friends we so appreciate your continued generous giving.
Your donations will be so instrumental in helping Joel get back on his feet.
Many of you know and have been a part of the immediate prayer and support following an incredibly devastating day that saw the amazing young man we know as Joel Paikea fighting for his life.
Joel was involved in a motorcycle accident that, by all logical accounts, should have taken his life. He suffered a torn aorta, multiple broken bones, internal bleeding, and significant swelling to his brain.
For 28 long days, Joel lay in a coma — but by the grace and power of God and the skill and care of the Drs and nurses he is now awake.
This is nothing short of a miracle.
We are standing in faith, believing for a full and fast recovery. Joel’s strength, resilience, and the unwavering love of his family have been evident every step of the way.
From across the country and around the world, people have been praying — and the Paikea family have felt every single one of those prayers. Thank you for lifting them up during this incredibly difficult season.

How You Can Help
Many have asked how they can support Joel and his family financially as they navigate this journey and road ahead.
This GoFundMe has been set up as a way for friends, family, and supporters to contribute towards:
• Future medical bills and rehabilitation costs
• Specialist care and therapies
•Teeth implants among other dental work
• Any other unexpected costs that arise during his recovery journey
Every donation — big or small — makes a difference. Your generosity will help ease the financial burden and allow the Paikea family to focus on what matters most: Joel’s recovery.

Let’s Rally for Joel
Joel is a fighter. He’s already defied the odds once — and with our continued prayers, love, and support, we believe the best is yet to come.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
