Let’s Rally and Help Sheila Smith!

My name is Suzanne Parrish, I’m setting this up for a pretty incredible lady who took a chance and hired an 18-year-old kid back in 1985 to work at one of the coolest, most memorable workplaces ever. We were a family back then, and one of our own needs our help ASAP!

So I’m calling on all of our radio family and friends from the old HoneyRadio, WCSX and WRIF gang! We all know her and love her. The OG of the station, Sheila Smith. She has been retired for quite a few years now, unfortunately not on her own terms, our parent company Greater Media did her dirty. After busting her butt for 36 years, they eliminated her position one year before she would’ve been able to get her full pension. Shameful!

Sheila has touched just about everybody that came through the doors at One Radio Plaza. She was always the first one to help whenever somebody needed it without question. Well, now she needs us, she is currently at risk of losing her home, unable to pay taxes or other bills and expenses. She was unfortunately scammed out of money twice, and is still battling to get some of the money back.

Let’s come together and help out our friend, like I said earlier, she would be the first one with her debit card out for anyone of us.
