Let's raise funds for Mona's Education in Ghana!

Mona is 4 years old. This girl is the child of my nanny that was with me for 12 years. Leila, Mona's mom, is a single mom and lives in Ghana (in West Africa). Leila's works hard in her small retail shop, where she sells slippers that she beads herself, and she also sells frozen foods (like fish and chicken). Her small shop does not make enough for a living.

Leila, like all African moms, has to pay for school, the uniform, the books, and of course her rent for decent housing and taxes.

We want to and do help Leila the most possible, sometimes with medical bills and medicine for Mona, when she is sick. But I cant help her forever so thats when you come in to help her. This fund is for Leila to pay the next few years of school fees, uniforms, books, educational activities, and medical bills for Mona.

The reason why I, Makena, am helping her is because she has finacial problems. Leila was with me for most my life. We consider her as family! That is why I am helping Leila fund Mona's education, by doing this GoFundMe page.
