Let's please join together to help Tim and Faith

Tim and faith are an amazing couple who are always there to help anyone who needs it. Well, now they need our help.

 

Last March, Tim and Faith were out of work for about 10 weeks with severe cases of covid. Then, without either one of them ever making a full recovery, covid struck them both again this January.

 

What has transpired since January has been life-changing, to say the least.

 

As Faith started a very slow (and still not complete) recovery, Timmy's condition just continued to worsen and became quite dire. As he struggled to breathe, his oxygen levels dropped dangerously low. As a result, Tim spent 5 weeks in the hospital over 2 separate visits.

 

Over that time, he suffered a collapsed lung, emergency surgery and an induced coma while intubated with a ventilator. During his emergency surgery, Timmy "coded." Thankfully, he was miraculously resuscitated by the Doctors.

 

He eventually went home on an oxygen machine, with blood clots in his lungs, severe respiratory issues and unable to take 3 steps together without losing his ability to breathe. Yes, even on high oxygen levels, he still couldn't take 3 steps. So Tim remained on oxygen, 24 hours a day, for 3 months.

 

Tim is still out of work until at least September when he will be re-evaluated. But, by God's grace and endless physical therapy appointments, he is slowly improving. Tim can now walk pretty well now, but can't make a bed or carry groceries. He can talk well now, but can't talk for too long without being overwhelmingly winded. And though he's off oxygen, he can't really be in any humid or very warm environment for too long, as it greatly affects his ability to breathe.

 

The past 16 months have been scary and life-altering. In addition to the physical and emotional health challenges, there are also significant financial burdens. With doctor and hospital bills adding up and no end to physical therapy in sight, it is with a humble heart that they realize they need help.

When a GoFundMe was suggested months ago, Timmy and Faith said with pride, "We're ok, we got this." As time has passed and the realization of truly not knowing when Tim will be able to return to work, they have surrendered to the fact that they can't do it alone.

 

Timmy and Faith have touched so many lives, let us now please help touch theirs. Please help us reach out our hands to our friends, and our family, Timmy & Faith, in their time of need.
