Help me not let the bullies win

Hello, I’m Nadia Essex, a single mum doing my best to raise my child while navigating life’s challenges. I’m reaching out for your support to help me. I am planning on filing a defamation lawsuit against Lauryn Goodman, who published a vicious blog last month filled with cruel and baseless lies about me. She falsely accused me of having sold stories about her to the press, profiting off her name, and shamefully claimed I blamed her sisters for things I supposedly did—none of which ever happened. I’ve sent her legal notices, pleading for her to retract her falsehoods, but she’s coldly refused, standing by her lies. Now, I have no choice but to take her to court to seek justice and an apology. No one should have to endure this kind of public humiliation and defamation, especially not a mum just trying to get by who has never sold a story on Lauryn or made a penny off the back of her name.

Lauryn’s history of dishonesty isn’t new—Judge Hess, in her child support case with Kyle Walker, called her “not reliable” and said she “often said what she thought would help her case rather than what was true.”

Now, she’s hired a Top Tier lawyer charging £525 plus VAT per hour, leaving me—a single mum with limited resources—at a devastating disadvantage. Without your help, I can’t afford to stand up to her and fight for what’s right.

I’m not just fighting for myself but for every person who’s been unfairly targeted by lies and bullied by people who thought they were above you and the law just because they have money.
