On the advice of friends and family, I need to be honest about our need. It is much larger than at first I thought. Anything you can do to get us to our new goal would be appreciated. Please don't think me crass or ungrateful.

I have been sick and out of work for a long time. It started with ovarian tumors, and now I have peritoneal tumors, as well as Acrimegly Disease, among other bone and musculature issues. I am completely disabled and am in the hospital more than I am at home. My 11 year old son does not know who his mother is.

My husband works, but does not make enough to cover our bills. We lost our house and everything we worked hard for to live a comfortable life. Bankruptcy was horrific.

The government gives us nothing, and I go to food pantries and rely on my family for day to day living expenses.

Any monies would go towards paying medical bills, as well as household bills, etc.

I wish I could say this would be a loan and you'd get your money back. At this point, I cannot promise that. I hope to pay it forward someday soon.
