Lets make sure Andy gets the best treatment

Hi there, and thanks for opening our page! As you may very well be aware, our great friend and colleague Andy and his partner Nikki, are going through an incredibly difficult time at the moment.

In October of 2021 At 41 years old, Andy was diagnosed with Stage 3c Bowel Cancer, and after what was hoped was a successful operation, we now find Andy facing a further challenge. 8 cancerous masses have developed in 5 short weeks on his Peritoneal lining as the cancer had moved through his intestinal wall, infiltrated his lymphatic system (6 nodes of which were removed), and while the chemotherapy had begun he is now faced with a more aggressive cancer requiring much more intense chemo and potentially trial medical procedures.

Treatment to date has been excellent through the public sector, but treatment for this new cancer may not be covered due to certain treatments only being subsidised when used on specific cancers and in turn will have a huge financial impact. For this reason, I'm reaching out to friends, acquaintances and colleagues to help raise some funds to make this treatment not only possible, but to take away further stress from this beautiful young families lives.

The journey has robbed Andy and Nikki and their beautiful girls Charley 2 and Piper 1, of celebratory milestones, birthdays, Christmas and they would love to make as many memories and moments to cherish as possible. They need to buy more time.

The 12 month Immunotherapy treatment doesn't come cheap, and isn't subsidised through Medicare or covered by health insurance. For 12 months of treatment the cost is $118,000; the reason for this very important fundraising.

Without this treatment, this may be a story without the ending we all so wish for, so please, with whatever you can spare, please please help Andy, Nikki and their fabulous Kids.
