Support Brent’s Recovery After a Devastating Highway Accident

On April 19th, Brent’s life was changed in an instant.

While visiting his hometown, Brent was driving on a two-lane highway when he collided with an 18-wheeler that had no lights on—at 75mph. The impact was catastrophic. Brent suffered a broken back, arm, foot, sternum, multiple ribs, and a severe chest injury that will require specialized cardiac care in the months ahead.

But Brent’s fight began after the crash. Alone and critically injured, he had to crawl out of the wreckage to seek help, despite his broken body. His strength and will to survive are nothing short of miraculous.

We want to acknowledge the Good Samaritan who found, cared for him, and called for help. We are deeply grateful to that individual, whose quick action likely saved Brent’s life, and to the first responders who arrived on scene and rendered care under the most difficult circumstances.

Today, Brent faces a long and difficult road to recovery—without health insurance. As an independent consultant, he has no coverage and was released from the hospital without a rehabilitation plan. He’s now navigating a complex healing journey with limited support and growing medical expenses.
