Let’s make it better together for the Cooper’s

Guillain-Barre Syndrome has rocked The Coopers world ... Josh complained Friday night of weakness and tingling in his hands and feet and then again Saturday morning. He went and coached Cam's football game and could barely stay on his feet. I immediately took him to the ER and we were sent home with no answers, but " go get a good meal and relax" for the next 3 days the tingling in his feet and hands got worse, he couldn't walk on his own, couldn't sleep, eat, nothing. I knew in my gut something wasn't right .We went to the ER Monday night and I wasn't leaving until we had some answers. We waited for 4 hours to finally be seen then another 4 hours to finally be told you have Guillian-Barre. He was admitted to the hospital right away and started on IVIG infusion treatment. We will continue this treatment for 5 days in the hospital. This thing is so bizarre. The paralysis is something new every day. The recovery is going to be a long road for Josh, the future is unknown at the moment. To all of our family and friends who have reached out, helped us, prayed for us we cant thank you enough. Ma and Papa have the kids while Mommy sleeps at the hospital every night and they are keeping their minds off of it all with way too much fun stuff. We are so grateful! WE ARE COOPERS and Josh will fight this thing until the end. Please continue to pray for Josh , we can feel it ! I will try and keep updates on his progress.
