Lets make a Book with Bri!
Meet Miss Bri -
A lover of adventures, Wonder Woman, and anything that involves the need for speed, Bri is a sassy, sweet and totally fearless thirteen year old. On the weekends you’ll find her tearing up the trails, all the while urging her parents to go faster on their razor; riding horses with the help of her golden lab Emily; or like every thirteen year old girl, texting her besties about their next big sleepover.
Bri has Glutaric Acidemia Type I which means she lacks the enzymes needed to breakdown protein in her body. Because this affected the basal ganglia part of her brain when she was a baby, it has impacted her fine gross motor skills and speech development. Bri continues to prove doctors wrong with the amazing strides she’s made with her sheer determination and the love of two incredible parents who encourage her to shoot for the moon every single day.
For those of us lucky enough to call Bri our friend, there is no doubt she is our very own Wonder Woman.

About the Red Fred Project
The Red Fred Project finds children living in extraordinary circumstances (rare diseases, critical illnesses, life-limiting situations) and asks them the question: If you could write a book for the entire world to read, what would it be about?
The stories they share are filled with humor, compassion and wisdom. The books we create together become a vehicle for these stories. They become a lasting voice, a tangible achievement for each child. As part of the proceeds from each book sold go to the family, or to a related cause chosen by the child, the books are also a way to help with financial difficulties.
You see? The magic multiplies, lives on forever. You will be inspired by the talent and imagination of these children. Let’s make books. Together!
