Let's Love on Cade Dornburg and family!

Hello, my name is Kelly Walker and I am blessed to have known the Dornburg family since our boys were in elementary school at Rahe Bulverde. Our families quickly bonded over a shared love for all things football! Soon we learned that Cade was diagnosed with an atrial septal defect as a toddler, and we all stood by his side when he had heart surgery in 5th grade to close the hole. After the procedure, there was still a tiny amount of blood flow, but it was believed to continue healing naturally over time. In September 2022, we found ourselves in disbelief when 16-year-old Cade experienced an ischemic stroke while at work that his doctors believe was caused by the device in his heart. On December 12th, Cade will undergo another heart procedure in Houston to insert a second device in an effort to stop the flow and prevent another stroke. Heather, Blake, Cade and brothers Ryan and Braden ask for nothing more than prayers for a successful surgery and complete healing; however, we know the medical and travel costs can become burdensome to say the least. Please help us rally around this SV Ranger of ours who was sidelined this football season, but never left our boy's sides all season long cheering them on!
