A long-time neighbor and friend of CCNS, Rod Clure, has just experienced a house fire on Sunday, June 23.

Thankfully, he’s fine, but a lot of his belongings have been damaged. And of course, much of his home.

Rod has been a helpful and considerate neighbor to everyone on the block – including CCNS – and we want to give him support in whatever way we can. He’s been advised not to spend too much time in the house (due to fumes, etc.), so even meals are challenging at this point.

He was raised in this house and been there for 64 years. His house is the only original home left on that entire street with an original family member owning that house!

Rod has been a helpful neighbor to everyone on the block, and we want to be able to give him support in whatever way we can. At this point, he's been advised not to spend too much time in the house (due to fumes, etc.), so even meals are challenging at this point. 

The best help we can offer at this moment is of the financial kind. 

Please give what you can and pass this along as well. 

When Rod heard of this fundraising gesture he was quite moved and thankful already!
