Let’s kick Stage 4 Lung Cancer in the …
Well,
I never thought I’d be here in all honesty.
On June 28th my mother the hardest working woman who followed her dream and gave and gave and gave everything into a loving community went to emergency with rediculous sized swollen ankles.
In a twist of fate and a weeks worth of Scans, tests, and many other procedures she was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer that has spread not only to the lymph nodes but all over her bones.
on the day of June 28th she was 136 lbs. today she is under 90 lbs. hospitalized and in need of constant care. I have closed a business to spend and take care of every need sometimes driving 6-8 hours daily for appointments etc. The business that was closed was also my mother’s dream. She is the most wonderful giving kind lady anyone would meet.
with this said , I honestly just want to take her to do one thing. Just one. Of the many dreams she had she would’ve loved to do.
i would like to say on an ending note. For her I’ll battle to the bitter end. I am her only family member she has and I got this, I’ll never quit or give up , In the words of mom(Lisa).
“It is, what it is”
appreciate every single thought, prayer, helping hand and so fourth.
thank you with all my heart ,
Steven
(PS, mom is the beautiful blonde next to the young handsome fella, to the left of myself are her parents Ron and Camille( whom the restaurant is named after).
