let's get ollie to remission!

no one wants to learn their best bud has cancer and only a few months left to live, especially not me…especially not him.
to know ollie is to know only bright, friendly joy. he’s never had a hard day in his life and hasn’t ever met a stranger or a snack he didn’t love. some even say he’s the mayor of our apartment building.
during a recent visit to the vet for a stomach issue, his vet noticed that his lymph nodes were a little pronounced and wanted to send a sample off to get tested to rule out early lymphoma. unfortunately it came back positive and on january 12, i got the call and he was given about 3 months without chemo.
today, january 22, we met with an oncologist and she did some further testing to determine next steps and treatment options. there are multiple routes to explore, depending on the results. the most ideal and the one with the best track record could cost upwards of $13k.
the goal is to try treatment for a little and hope that he responds well. if he does, we could buy him a year or so of continued life and play! otherwise, we make a bucket list and try to give him the most fun, most adventurous going out. and a private cremation.
so many folks know and love this angel dog as well as myself and we appreciate any help and well-wishes anyone would like to send! our biggest need currently is financial support, as the initial appointment alone was $675.
ollie only deserves to have a continued good life and i so appreciate you for being here with us on this journey. he’s my absolute best friend, my heart and soul. i just want to give him the best life possible.
thank you.
we love you so ♥️
