Mi Escuelita, our beloved family owned and operated community daycare needs support as they transition to a new location. The current landlord is forcing them out of the location where they have lovingly cared for hundreds of children over the past 20 years. Finding a suitable location in the current Bay Area real estate market is proving to be challenging and expensive. Additionally, once they secure a new location, they will need to wait until the new place is licensed before they can operate there. What this means for Carlos and Miguel is that they will need to pay rent on both the current location and the new location for as long as 3 months while they wait for their licensing to go through. We are seeking financial support to help Carlos and Miguel through this transition. They have lovingly cared for our children as if they were their own for decades, now it’s our turn to take care of them!
