I have a wonderful aunt who has been quietly fighting through serious health challenges for some years now. About 2 years ago, against her wishes, I got her a cat to be there during her alone times. Before she knew it she fell in love with her beautiful black cat named Karma :)
Karma isn’t just a pet; she’s her companion, her comfort, and often her only company on the hard days. When the world feels heavy, Karma curls up beside her and somehow makes everything feel a little lighter. Before Karma came along, she never thought she could handle having a pet. She was meticulous about keeping everything spotless — the kind of “clean freak” who didn’t even like a speck out of place. But Karma changed all that. Now she doesn’t mind the fur, the little messes, or the chaos — because the love and joy Karma brings her are worth it all.
Now, she’s preparing to move into a new apartment that will make life easier on her health. The only problem is, the new place requires a $500 pet fee and proof of updated shots before Karma can move in. On a fixed income and battling illness, that extra cost is just out of reach.
So, with a humble heart, she’s asking for a little help — something she’s never been comfortable doing — to make sure she doesn’t have to leave Karma behind. If you can donate or share, it would mean the world. Every bit helps keep this loving pair together, right where they belong — side by side, healing and loving one day at a time.
( The extra $300 is for the remainder of shots they require at the point of move in)
