I'm Thea Jeffers, the owner of Breezy Jazz House in Jacksonville Florida. I've been an avid jazz lover since the age 12 and have a passion for the artistry and feeling the music evokes. My admiration for the craft pushed me to open my own Jazz House in 2016. While it's been simply amazing, fulfilling a life log dream, I've also been met with several obstacles and hardships along the way, like many businesses.
Breezy Jazz House is hoping to raise funds to keep Jazz in Jacksonville alive. We're a growing team employing 10 staff members, several local artists, and music students from high school and colleges in t the Jacksonville community. We strive to continue bringing opportunities to upcoming artists, keeping the culture of Jazz and music active in our city. The funds raised will allow us to expand our reach through better marketing, and open our doors to more opportunities to host events and artists throughout the year. We would like to purchase needed equipment for better sound quality for our musicians, upgrade our seating for a more elevated experience for our guests, and expand our operating hours to five days a week opposed to three.
We know there are many Jazz lovers in Jacksonville and we want Breezy Jazz House to be your home for live music! Please consider donating as we embark on this journey and aim to keep our doors open for the long haul. No donation is too small and we hope to see you soon, at Breezy Jazz House.
