As some of you may or may not know, our sister, MaryKay Grant, has been diagnosed with stage 4, metastatic Melanoma. Our goal is to raise $20,000 to help offset the impending costs that she will incur and to help her with any reduction in pay while going through treatment.
     From a career that started at Sony, she was always of service to our members in their time of need. This culminated in an offer to become a Local 80 Business Agent where her compassion for members could thrive. From then on she has been of constant service to members and non-members alike. Her dedication and passion toward her work has never faltered. Even now in her diagnosis she places her dedication  to her members above all else. Going through treatments she still finds time to answer phone calls, handle any voice mails and emails sent her way. This flows from her so seamlessly that you would not have any idea what she is going through. 
      If you have ever called the office and spoke to MaryKay Grant you have experienced her competence and her caring heart. She has been there in your time of need and now it is she who is in need. So let us all stand up together and help her in her fight against cancer.
