Let's Join to Give Hari Manandhar a New Life

Hi, my name is Laxman Shrestha, and I am raising funds for the medical treatment (mainly to support the extremely expensive kidney transplantation process) for my 51-year-old elder brother (Jethan Dai), Mr. Hari Manandhar. Currently, he has been diagnosed with kidney failure at the Kist Hospital Gwarko, Kathmandu and Holy Family Hospital, New Delhi, India. Both hospitals and involved doctors asked Mr. Manandhar to arrange kidney transplantation as soon as possible to maintain his overall health and well-being.

But kidney transplant is not an easy process. It needs a kidney donor, equipped medical professionals, and a considerable amount of money. He is struggling to manage all these. As he is waiting to find a donor and collect money for this expensive kidney transplantation process, he has started his hemodialysis at Kist Hospital. As there is a significantly high cost of money needed for the kidney transplantation procedure as well as post-operative expenses, Mr. Manandhar is looking for some support from all of us at this stage of his life.

He always had a whole heart and strong hands to help all who needed support when he was healthy and well. Having gone through multiple roller coasters in his life, Mr. Manandhar understands life and wants to live more to be able to support more folks who will need support. He was one of the pioneers to establish an organization called “Sahayogi Manharuko Sastha,” which has been supporting many needy people since its birth in Nepal. Mr. Manandhar has been volunteering as the General Secretary for it since the very beginning of the organization.

As Mr. Manandhar spent lots of money that he had for his kidney treatment up to this date, he is in short of money for the cost of a kidney transplant and other expenses. So, I thought of raising some donations to help him and his family overcome this difficult situation. Although we contribute a huge amount, our little help also matters a lot at this time. Hence, I requested all my friends and people with beautiful hearts to join hands with me to help my brother Mr. Manandhar overcome this hardship. सँसार त्रसित भैरहेको कोरोना कालमा नेपाल लगायत सँसारका सबै मानिसहरू घरमा सुरक्षित बसिरहेका थिए तर हरि मानन्धर मृत्युसँग खेल्दै पीडितहरूको घर आँगन र अस्पतालका बेडहरूसम्म पुगेर खान नपाउनेलाई खाना, उपचार नपाउनेलाई उपचारका लागि र उपचारका लागि आवस्यक सामाग्रीहरू बाँड्न पुगेका थिए ।

साहित्य क्षेत्रमा अत्यधिक रूचि राख्ने मानन्धरले साहित्यलाई पनि आफ्नो रूचीको पाटो बनाएका थिए । उनले कविता सङ्ग्रह र गजल एल्बम समेत निकालिसकेका छन् । हरि मानन्धर नेपाली साहित्यलाई विश्व सामु जोड्ने एक मात्रै सँस्था हो अनेसास भन्दा गर्व लाग्ने बताउँछन् । सन २००८ देखि अनेसासका आजिवन सदस्यबाट शुरू गरेका अनेसास यात्रा इजरायल च्याप्टरका सँस्थापक सचिव पदमा कार्यरत भैसकेका हुन् । अनेसासको केन्द्रिय कार्य समितिमा सन २०१०-१२ का लागि केन्द्रिय सचिव पदमा रहेर काम गरिसकेका छन् । साहित्यलाई रूची बनाउँदै पत्रकारिता क्षेत्रमा लागेका मानन्धरले पत्रकारितालाई समाजसँग जोडेर समाजसेवा गररहेका छन् । कुनै पनि बिरामी वा पीडित रकम अभावकै कारण ज्यान गुमाउने अवस्थासम्म पुग्न नपरोस् भनेरै उनि व्यक्तिगत तथा सँस्थागत रूपमा पुर्वदेखि पश्चिम नेपालीका पीडाहरूमा मल्हम बनेर उभिएका छन् ।
