After multiple organs failing Matt lost his battle

Hi, my name is Sandi and I am Matthew’s mother. Over the course of the last few months his world has completely turned upside down. He ended up in the emergency room as an autoimmune disease caused liver failure. They have had to weekly drains at least 3L of toxic fluid that’s building up in his abdomen due to this condition. He’s been in and out of the hospital for months battling liver failure, and now kidney failure and a blood infection. His liver is beyond repair and is currently on the list for a donor because he doesn’t have an immediate family member match. We’re hoping and praying for the best outcome for his health, and just as he’s struggled with the pain and downfalls of that he’s battling financial struggles as well. He just began a new job prior to his diagnosis that didn’t offer great insurance and each hospital stay has resulted in a $4k bill delivered to him prior to discharge, on top of daily living and home expenses that haven’t stopped even though work has because he isn’t able bodied to even do basic daily tasks let alone work at a power plant. Any donation would be beneficial to help us through this trying time… because on top of everything listed above, the average cost of a transplant is beyond comprehension.
