This is the news we have been fighting for. On September 25, 2025, the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals officially delivered a complete victory: Matina Davis's conviction has been REVERSED and the case has been ordered to be DISMISSED due to insufficient evidence!
For years, Matina fought against an unjust misdemeanor conviction for "False Reporting of a Crime" in Comanche County (Lawton). This charge was weaponized against her after she stood up against official misconduct. The conviction cost her her home, her livelihood, and her reputation.
But today, the highest court has confirmed what we knew all along: She was wrongfully convicted. This document is the evidence that the State of Oklahoma failed, and justice is finally prevailing.
The Fight Isn't Over: We Need Your Help to Sue for Damages
The criminal case is won, but the next phase—the civil fight for accountability—is the most expensive. We are now pursuing a Civil Lawsuit to sue the individuals and agencies responsible for prosecutorial misconduct, harassment, and destruction of Matina’s life and family.
This civil suit is not just about compensating Matina; it’s about setting a powerful precedent to hold public servants accountable and ensure that no one else in Lawton or Oklahoma has their life destroyed by the misuse of power.
Our immediate goal is to raIse $5000
