Let's Help Zach the Student Athlete Get Back on the Field

Hi, my name is Zach Roebuck, and I’m a student-athlete at St. John’s University. I’ve spent my

life pouring my heart into the game. I love pushing myself every single day in the classroom, in

the gym, and on the field. My sport isn’t just a game to me; it’s been my passion, my escape,

and my future.

But one moment changed everything.

During a routine drill at practice, I came down wrong and in a split second, I tore my ACL,

meniscus, PLC, and hamstring. The pain was immediate and intense, but what hit even

harder was the realization that everything I’ve worked so hard for was suddenly put on hold.

Now after surgery I have intense rehab, and a long road to recovery. And with that comes

something I never expected: financial hardship.

Medical bills are piling up MRIs, surgery, physical therapy, and everyday expenses that

insurance just doesn’t cover. My family and I are doing everything we can, but we need help.

I’ve never been the type to ask for much, but right now I’m asking for support for anything you

can give to help me cover these mounting medical bills and keep hope alive. I want to walk

again without pain. I want to run. And most of all, I want to play the game I love again.
