To honor our friend Linda Tyndall

Hello, Friends. This is Mary Montez and Oor Janie.
We have lost our beloved Lin (Tyndall).
A message from Becca: “At around 6:45 yesterday (Friday, January 26th) morning, I held my mom's hand, stroking her skin with my thumb, and whispered, ‘Do whatever you need to do.’
The doctors had told my dad and me that if enough time passed and she was still struggling to survive, he and I would have to be the ones to make the call. But 3 hours and 15 minutes after I left my mom's side, she made the call herself, and decided to depart her body at 10:00 am sharp. I believe she was waiting for us to leave to make her departure.
In the end, it was her heart. She had fought for so long, and endured so much pain (more pain than she ever let on), she was just tired. And after everything she's been through, not just within this past year, but in her life as a whole, my darling mama deserves a rest.
I've cried so much that all that's left in me are dry heaves. My heart's pumping nonstop like I'm going to vomit. There's a heartache in my chest that's so painful I gasp for breath. But this is the pain I willingly accept so that my mom can finally have peace.
When she and I would talk about death, long before she got sick, she would tell me, "I don't want a memorial or a funeral where people cry, I want a celebration of life where people dance and laugh." So abiding by her wishes, I will sometime within the next year, be planning a Celebration of Linda's Life Facebook event, that our friends near and far can all attend.
If love were a currency, it would be impossible for my mom to gauge just how rich she was.
Thank you for loving her, and for filling her life with healing love, stomach-cramping laughter, and unbreakable friendships. And thank you for all of the support and compassion you've shown my dad and me these past 13½ months. You are the shoulder we were able to collapse into when we were no longer strong.
I love you, mama. More than air. ❤”
We will miss her, and the community will be the less for missing the beautiful items she used to make, like the crocheted hats, mittens, and blankets given away, and the art projects she "abandoned", like her drawings, painted rocks, and angry uteruses. If you can, please join our fund raiser to show support for Becca and Robert in this heart breaking time.
Thank you, Friends.
