Hi, my name is Adam, and as some may know, my 4-year-old niece has suddenly been diagnosed with type 1 Diabetes. This event presents a new challenge for Quinn and her parents that will be a part of their lives forever. I am asking that we make this transition easier for them by donating to cover some of the costs of emergency medical bills, initial supplies, equipment and lost time from work. They did not ask for monetary help, but I know it will make this rude surprise easier on them. Quinn is currently in good spirits and is learning very quickly the reality of her new situation with a level of strength that no 4-year-old has any business having.
