Let’s help Vicky come back to us and see her dad

Update 05/01: Vicky’s dad is still in Bogotá waiting for his appointment which is still scheduled for 05/04.

Our beloved Vicky was declared as brain dead on 04/29, we are heartbroken to see her go but we know she lived her life to the fullest and even after she goes, she will live through so many other people that will be saved thanks to her, Vicky will be part of the organ donation program and while being just 19 years old will give life back to so many other people. Even though Vicky’s soul is with God and her mom already, her body is still here awaiting for her dad to come see her and say goodbye. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the love and support this past week while we navigated these dark and painful times as a family.

Update 04/28: Vicky’s dad went to the US embassy first thing this morning to see if they would help him today instead of the date they gave him 05/04, regrettably, they told him his appointment is on that day and has to wait. We need to keep praying for this process and for Vicky’s prognosis!

Update about Vicky’s health: Vicky’s in the ICU, even though the doctors’ prognosis is not good, we’re still hoping and praying with faith that God will perform a miracle!

Update 04/27/2023 Vicky’s dad is currently at the US embassy in Bogota. We are praying and hoping that he comes out with an approval and not having to wait for another appointment in a week. If he does, we’re planning on flying him TODAY to come see Vicky! - He was able to put his fingerprints today but not to do the interview, they told him to come tomorrow at 7AM for an interview. Let’s keep PRAYING!

Update 04/25/2023 Vicky’s dad is on his way to Bogota, Colombia.

We’ve requested his visa appointment as an emergency due to medical reasons and at this point we’re just waiting and hoping that whoever reviews his case allows him to come in for it ASAP so we can get this going and bring him to see Vicky! We’re also requesting a humanitarian parole, this will be introduced today for review and approval, we just want to make sure we have more than one option. Let’s keep praying!!

Hi, my name is María Jose and this fundraiser is for my sister in law. Her name is Victoria Garcia and she’s 19 years old, she is from Barquisimeto, Venezuela but currently lives in Atlanta. She was in an awful car accident earlier today (April 23rd, 2023) She’s a young lady and she’s so full of life and that’s how we want to see her again.

She moved to the US over a year ago and even though she’s so young, she’s accomplished so much already and we want to see what else life has in store for her.

She was severely injured and we’re hoping and praying for a miracle, like the one God granted her many years ago when while being just a kid she was in a car accident with her brother who also survived and her mom who regrettably passed away at the time.

We need any help we can get to cover any medical expenses that might be coming our way but more importantly; we want her to see her dad again, we truly believe that this will be key in her diagnosis and recovery and also will bring so much peace to her dad’s heart since they haven’t seen each other in over a year. Her dad is heart broken and wants to see his daughter again, he is in Venezuela and his travel visa is expired, as many of you know, there’s not a US embassy in Venezuela which means he will have to travel to Colombia or somewhere else to see if we can get him an emergency appointment to get a temporary one to travel so he can come see her and be with her.

These funds will be used to do everything in out power to get Ewersson (Victoria’s dad) to see his daughter again, for any travel or medical expenses.

Actualización 01 de Mayo: el papá de Vicky se encuentra todavía en Bogotá esperando su cita en la embajada que todavía esta pautada para el 04 de Mayo.

Nuestra amada Vicky fue declarada con muerte cerebral el 29 de Abril, tenemos el corazón roto de tener que verla ir pero sabemos que Vicky vivió su vida al máximo y como si fuera el ultimo dia todos los días e inclusive luego de que su cuerpo parta de este plano terrenal seguirá viviendo a través de muchos otros que tendrán vida y se salvaran gracias a ella, Vicky será parte del programa de donación de órganos y aunque solo tiene 19 años le dara vida de regreso a otras personas. Aunque su alma y espíritu ya están con Dios y con su mamá, su cuerpo aún esta esperando a su papá para que venga a despedirse y verla una vez mas. Les agradecemos desde el fondo de nuestro corazon por tanto amor y apoyo a nuestra familia durante esta semana que paso.

Actualización 28 de Abril: el papá de Vicky fue a la embajada hoy a primera hora de la mañana a ver si lo atendían, lamentablemente, le dijeron que su cita es el 4 de mayo y no hoy así que no le hicieron la entrevista. Necesitamos seguir ORANDO por este trámite y por la salud de Vicky!

Actualización del estado de salud de Vicky: Vicky sigue hospitalizada en cuidados intensivos, los pronósticos no lucen bien, pero seguimos sostenidos en la Fe de que Dios va a hacer un milagro!

Actualización m 27 de abril; el papá de Vicky esta en la embajada de EEUU en estos momentos, para su cita de emergencia. Estamos orando para que salga con la visa aprobada de una vez y no tener que esperar una semana más para otra cita en el consulado. De ser así, y que salga con su visa, el plan es traerlo hoy mismo a ver a Vicky! - el papá de Vicky pudo solo poner huellas hoy, pero le dijeron que vaya mañana a las 7AM para la entrevista con un funcionario. SEGUIMOS ORANDO!

Actualización 25 de abril; el papá de Vicky va en camino a Bogotá, Colombia. Ya se hizo la solicitud de la visa de emergencia por razones médicas de su hija, en este punto sólo estamos esperando y orando para que el oficial de la embajada que revise su caso le dé la importancia que requiere y le adelanten la cita para lo más pronto posible y así poder traerlo a ver a Vicky! También estaremos introduciendo un parol humanitario a ver cuál sale primero. Sigamos orando!!

Hola, mi nombre es María José y esta recaudación de fondos es para mi cuñada. Su nombre es Victoria García y tiene 19 años, ella es de Barquisimeto, Venezuela pero actualmente vive en Atlanta. Victoria sufrió un accidente de tránsito espantoso el día de hoy(23 de Abril). Vicky es un ser humano tan lleno de vida y así es como queremos seguir viéndola siempre. Ella se mudo a los Estados Unidos hace mas de un año y a pesar de ser tan joven ha logrado tantas cosas.

Vicky esta gravemente herida y estamos orando por un milagro; como el que Dios le concedió hace años cuando siendo solo una niña también sufrió un accidente de tránsito donde su hermano sobrevivió, pero lamentablemente su mama falleció.

Necesitamos cualquier ayuda para cubrir gastos médicos, pero mas importante aun, gastos de tramites y viaje para que su papá pueda volver a verla. Creemos fielmente que la presencia de su papá será clave para su diagnostico y recuperación, así como también traerá mucha paz a sus corazones ya que no se han visto desde que Vicky se mudo a Estados Unidos.

Como ustedes probablemente saben, en Venezuela no hay embajada americana por lo que Ewersson tendrá que viajar a otro país a pedir una cita de emergencia esperando que le permitan viajar.

Su papá tiene el corazón roto y quiere ver a su hija otra vez, el esta en Venezuela y su visa americana esta vencida.

Los fondos recaudados serán utilizados para hacer todo lo que podamos humanamente para que Ewersson y Victoria se vuelvan a encontrar y para cualquier gasto médico también.
