Let's Help Travis Walk Without Pain Again

Our friend Travis is the kind of person who lights up a room. Between his smile, his kindness, his excellent taste in music, his humor, his love of animals, his fabulous style, and his fantastic company, he's the kind of person who instantly makes folks feel safe, loved, and happy.
If you know Travis, you probably love him, too.
Travis has worked in the service industry for most of his adult life. If you've seen a show at Marymoor Park, The Showbox, Showbox Sodo, Capitol Hill Block Party, or Purr (back in the day!) within the last two decades, it's very possible Travis poured your drink and/or DJ'd the music you enjoyed. And if you visited Pike Place Market last year, you may have purchased some beautiful glass art from him!
While Travis loves the social aspects of the service and retail industries, over the last few years his body has been making it harder and harder to do this work. Travis has developed severe arthritis, which has completely taken over his joints. Unfortunately his hip joints have deteriorated to the point where bone is rubbing on bone and it's incredibly painful for him to walk, stand, or sit for too long.
Travis did have one of hips replaced last October, and the difference was immediate and palpable! Unfortunately they also accidentally knocked his tooth out during surgery (which they have since replaced). And then Travis' job was eliminated due to downsizing and he lost his health insurance before he could get his second hip replaced.
Travis is now in a place where he cannot postpone his second hip replacement any longer. It's just too painful. He has qualified for AppleCare and is getting that set up but in the meantime, he cannot work any of the jobs he's had before. It's painful to walk, stand, or even sit in the same place for too long. And while he really hates the idea of asking people for help, he's finally relented and allowed us to ask our beautiful community on his behalf. Everybody needs help sometimes, and Travis has helped so many of us over the years whenever we've needed it.
Please help us raise enough money so Travis can focus on getting his surgery done, recovery, and then get back to the full and vibrant life he deserves!
PS - If anyone has a lead on any work-from-home jobs, he would love to know!
