Let's help Tori get back on her feet!
In the beginning of September 2024, Tori was preparing for her job as a local paramedic when she fell down the stairs in her home. Tori's husband rushed home from work to bring her to the hospital, later discovering that Tori broke two bones in her ankle with her fall. Needless to say, Tori was unable to work that night and for several months after. Tori's injury required surgery, and she is expected to be out of work for another estimated 3-4 months.
Tori is a full-time stay-at-home mom with her two daughters, ages two and four, and works as a paramedic at a local Baptist Emergency Department when her schedule allows. Since Tori is not a full-time employee, she does not qualify for short-term disability or even PTO donations from coworkers. Anyone who works with Tori knows that she puts her heart into anything she does and never says "no" when asked for help. Tori is constantly putting others before herself. When she is not with her family, she is helping others in any way that she can. It is our turn to help Tori get back on her feet until her ankle allows. Please consider donating, sharing, or sending kind words to help support Tori, her husband Leighland, and her two daughters, Carter & Charlie Mae, until Tori's ankle heals.
