My name is TJ and I need your help.
Ever since I started playing basketball at age 12 I've had a dream to represent Canada and compete in the Paralympics.
I currently play for the Burlington Vipers in the CWBL. Due to hip surgery I had in 2015 I took a year off from basketball to recover. Unfortunately, when I got back into my wheelchair I found that I no longer fit.
A new wheelchair will cost $6750. Due to being on disability and other financial hardships this is a goal that is currently out of my reach without your generosity.
The 2018 basketball season is already underway but I really hope with your help that I can get a wheelchair before the playoffs and help my team win the CWBL National Championships.
