Let's help The Wubs Family

Hi my name is Chelseah Klassen and I am best friends with Dina McLean (Wubs)

On January 9, 2022 Dina and her four siblings lost their father and Mama Judy lost her husband John. He put up a valiant fight, but he has now left this earth to be with Jesus. The Wubs are grateful that John is no longer in pain or suffering in the hospital, but it has been a devastating loss to their family and community. The Wubs family has had a huge impact on my life and I am sure many of you feel like they are your family too. They are so welcoming and have done so much for all of us and now we have the opportunity to give back. Judy is now planning a funeral for later this week in Ontario and I am sure more details for that will come in the next day or two. Dina and her husband Jared are also planning to fly back to Ontario tomorrow to be with family and have no set date for their return home to BC.

Over the last few days I have received many texts and calls asking how we can support their family. As many of you know, funerals and flights are expensive and some family members have lost days of work. I recognize that the total seems like an enormous goal... but I am an optimist. If we all give a little - I know we can make a huge impact on their family to help cover some of the costs.

Thank you for your continued love, prayers, and support in this time. I know the Wubs family can feel all us reaching out to them as they heal and come to terms with this new reality.
