In the early morning of January 30th, Eddie was woken up by a neighbor frantically pounding on the door. Outside, Eddie’s vehicle was engulfed in flames with the fire threatening to destroy his work shed.
Within minutes, the vehicle was completely destroyed and the shed charred. Later that day it was determined that an arsonist started the blaze.
The Saldano’s are givers. Whether it’s family, friends, or strangers, through their faith and kindness, they’d give to anyone.
I had the pleasure of working alongside Eddie throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Eddie managed a life-saving supply of Personal Protective Equipment for our company. He poured his heart into ensuring inventory was up to date in order to prevent clinicians from going without. In fact, on a several occasions Eddie drove supplies to locations in need - because he put others before himself.
Now more than ever, the Saldano’s need the help they give to others. An act of random vandalism destroyed Eddie’s prized vehicle, charred his workshop, and shattered he and his wive’s sense of safety and security in their home and community.
