Let’s Help the Pepin Family

In April 2023, the Pepin family received devastating news that no family should ever receive. Their beautiful 2-year-old son, Theo, was diagnosed with AML Leukemia.

They are currently at SickKids Toronto as Theo recovers from his recent bone marrow transplant. While his recovery has been full of unexpected and scary setbacks, Theo has overcome many challenges with his parents, Samantha and Shaun, advocating for his care and by his side 24/7. He continues to fight incredibly hard on his journey back to health.

Samantha, Shaun, and their oldest son, Charlie, have been staying at Ronald McDonald House during Theo’s treatments. Shaun has taken sick leave, and Samantha has put her career on hold so they can be by Theo’s side.

To make matters worse, the family sold their home in Welland and bought their dream home in Northern Alberta just weeks before Theo’s diagnosis. As a result, once Theo gets the green light to move out of Ronald McDonald House, the family will be without a home in Ontario. As the family now needs to remain in the Hamilton and Toronto area for Theo to receive care for at least 18 months, we want to help them get back on their feet so they can continue to focus wholeheartedly on caring for Theo.

This GoFundMe is to help Theo’s family with rent and living expenses for the next 18 months until Theo is well enough for the family to continue their plans to move into their dream home. We would be grateful for any donation to help.
