A man who has given so much to us is now facing a battle in life that is proving to be a tough road ahead! Trey was in the Marine Corps for 8 years and did 2 tours in Iraq. Trey received 2 Navy and Marine Corps Achievement medals for Meritorious service, 1 with Combat "V" for Valor.
He then went on to serve 8 years in law enforcement. He started out with the Fairfax county Sheriff's office and then joined the Manassas City Police Department. In 2013 he was named police officer of the year and received a Valor award from City of Manassas for saving the life of an infant. In 2014 Trey received a Valor award from Prince William County Chamber of commerce.
For the last 3 years Trey has been working for the US Department of State, Diplomatic Security Service as a full time tactics instructor for the Basic Agent Course at the ITF in Summit Point, WV where he continues to commit to the law enforcement community as a law enforcement skills instructor.
On April 9, 2018 Trey was diagnosed with Non Seminoma Testicular Cancer mixed germ cell tumor with Predomiance of embryonal Carcinoma with Necrocsis and yolk sac tumor and Choriocarcinoma .
The doctors immediately removed the tumor and on May 3, 2018 Trey had his port put in and on May 7th, 2018 he started with a long road ahead of Chemotherapy.
Along with this road ahead of treatment comes many personal struggles. We are hoping to raise money to help Trey and his family have some relief from the financial burdens that lie ahead.
Trey has his wife, Nicole and 4 kids who are on this road of recovery ahead and would appreciate any help that they can get. Please help further by sharing this and including them in your prayers.
Updates regarding Trey's journey will be posted as we receive them.
