I have decided to set up this go fund me page for a family that we and many others feel truly deserve it. A month ago Paul was diagnosed with stage 4 inoperable Oesophageal cancer. This has been a massive shock to his family including his wife and 3 girls, along with his extended family and friends.
This shocking news has hit us into next week as it has for everyone that knows them. Helen the mum/Pauls wife was a very well known nursery/Primary school teacher in our village of Glemsford and Paul has worked within Greene King in Bury st Edmunds for over 30years, with both making many friends along the way. They have been involved with local football teams and many charitable events themselves, i think the family deserves a lovely gesture from us to them.
Paul has begun his treatment at home and has started his chemotherapy recently, he is staying strong for his family where many may not be so able to. This guy is a fighter and believe me he wont take this laying down.
So what am i asking for? Well its donations to help to build this family an outside garden room so Paul and his family can enjoy some time outside the 4 walls of the house but still be in a safe environment for him, somewhere they can still spend some time as a family in the fresh air but not be left to the elements.
I know its a hard time at the moment with the pandemic going on around us, but imagine being given this shocking news amidst it all, it takes some superhuman strength to even consider/deal with it it.
I have already managed to get a local building company 'Pynes landscaping and General Builders' on board for this project. We have now measured up and in reality, we need to raise some funds to get the wheels in motion.
So it is my time to appeal to you guys that have taken the time to read this for funds to help this family in their time of need. For those of you that do know this family, you would know that they would be the 1st to help another family in their time of need without question.
I just want to do my bit and share a bit of love about in a world that seems to have forgotten how to, or had the opportunity to do so taken away from them.
So PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, guys lets try and makes this family's wish a reality.
If anyone is willing to help raise funds or help out then please message me through a PM and we can go from there too.
We need to get this project up and running as soon as we can so they can enjoy this new family space in the better weather.
