Let's Help The Benmelehs

As many of you know, my sister Jayme's house unexpectedly caught fire on August 4th. It is a true miracle that everyone got out safely, but the devastation is significant. Most of the second floor and everything in it was destroyed. The roof is mostly gone. It will be over a year before the house is inhabitable. It's heart-breaking when this happens to anyone, but especially to a couple that gives so much of themselves not only to their own community, but also to the Jewish world at large with the amazing work my brother-in-law Michael has done through the Lighthouse Project.  While insurance will cover some of the loss, it doesn’t begin to scratch the surface of what is needed to rebuild their lives. Many of her friends and family have been reaching out to ask how they can help. After a lot of coaxing we convinced them to allow us to create this page to show them some love and support during this challenging time.
