I work as a health care aide at the Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria, Canada. I am originally from the Philippines, where my cousin and her family still live today. Pictured above is my niece Thanny Paclar, she is only 18 years old. She has recently been diagnosed with a cancerous tumour that is rapidly growing around her neck. The best treatment option will be to remove the tumour surgically and begin chemotherapy. Unfortunately, the doctors have quoted the surgery at 1 million pesos (approximately 20 thousand CAD). My cousin (the father) and her wife do not have consistent work and are unable to pay such a high price for their daughter’s treatment. The surgery has finished but I have created this gofundme in the hopes that I can raise money to pay off the medical bills. All donations are greatly appreciated.
