Let's Help Tessa & Arthur

Our dear friend Tessa was diagnosed a little over a week ago with cancer. She will be going in for major surgery in August to remove cancerous tissue and reconstruct her inner cheek. It's a ten hour surgery. She will be in hospital for 10 days give or take. After the surgery she will be under strict orders to rest for four weeks and is aiming to be back to her amazing self by Christmas. If you don't already know her, Tessa is a wonderful and caring woman. She is a dedicated mom...a single mom...who juggles it all to make the most amazing 'pirate adventure' filled childhood for her five year old son. She could use a little extra help leading up to, during and after her surgery. The cancer is localized and surgery is super promising, but she will not be able to work from August to at least December. Being a stay-at-home, single mom she has been working part-time, but does not have adequate benefits. All she needs is a little help from us to take the financial stress away so that she can focus on healing, staying positive and taking care of herself and her son. Even the smallest amount is appreciated.
