Hi my Name is Emily Priors and Tanya-Lee helped save my husbands life 2 years ago and then again at Christmas last year.

My husband is an army veteran who has PTSD and Tanya-Lee has supported both my husband and our family through some of the darkest moments in our lives.

Without her support my husband would not be here today which is why I'm asking you to please help me help her when she needs it! Our veteran family is only one of dozens that she assists 24/7 even when unwell.

Tanya-Lee has a SCI and runs an amazing Sugar Cookie business Imperfectly Perfect Sugar Cookies which she provides fundraising for veterans and she also provides care packages for free to chronically ill children.

A week and a half ago Tanya-Lee was taken to hospital via ambulance with what they thought was a stroke at first.

She has been dealing with chronic pain, aggressive facial spasms and speech issues and now is having trouble using her legs which they are suggesting is an FND flare up

She is supported by her husband and sons but her hubby has had to take time off work without pay due to the fact Tanya was unwell last year and diagnosed with FND he needed to look after her.

The family are fiercely independent never ask for help never expect anything in return for their kindness but if you know them and have watched their story through socials they are always the first to help others.

Our veteran community would like to help them out to say thank you for everything they do for us and others in the community.

Tanya-Lee has been made a Bathurst living legend and been nominated and won awards for her amazing advocacy and volunteer work.

Shes raised money for the cancer council, young veterans Australia, Bathurst rsl sub branch and numerous other charities she has given her time and products free of charge at a number of events across the Central west.

And I am also aware that her business funds her sons costs as an international wheelchair racer as they have been having trouble finding sponsors so I think anything that can help atm would be amazing.

If we can alleviate some financial costs involved in Tanya's rehab journey so her husband & sons can keep supporting her whilst in hospital I think this would be a great start.
