Let’s help Suzi, her fight is our fight.

Dear Friends and Family,

Recently it was discovered that our loving mom, Suzi, who some of you may know her as “Mama Behr”, was diagnosed with breast cancer. On 1/29/24, Suzi had a double mastectomy. During the 8-9 hour long surgery, we found out that some lymph nodes were biopsied to be sent out for further testing.

At her appointment on 2/15/24, we were informed with the biopsy results that the cancer has spread to her lymph nodes and is now stage 2B. Suzi will need another surgery which is scheduled in March, to remove the affected lymph nodes. After the surgery, she still may have to go for Chemo and Radiation multiple times a week.

After an outpouring of love from family and friends, many have wondered what they can do to support Suzi. As her loved ones, we want to do everything we can to support her during this challenging time. We are creating this GoFundMe to help raise money for Suzi to get a reliable vehicle, so she is able to get to and from the hospital for treatment and upcoming doctor appointments. It will also assist with any treatment/medical bills that aren’t covered. The less she has to worry about, the more she can focus on healing and recovery.
