I am starting this fundraising page with my family on behalf of my mother, Susan. My beautiful, strong, Momma was diagnosed with Stage Four Cancer this past week. The cancer has spread from her lungs to her heart and brain. My Mom is a very healthy person; she eats healthy, exercises, and is in great shape. Therefore this diagnosis has come as a huge shock to my Mom and my family. Due to the severity of the diagnosis, my Mom will be unable to work for awhile. She has already endured several CT's, MRI's, echo's, and a week in the hospital. The road ahead is long and paved with chemo, radiation, and multiple surgeries. My Mom has dedicated her life to her four children, husband, and thousands of patients and their families in her twenty-three years as a nurse. At this time, my family needs all the prayers and support we can get!! Please, if you can donate anything it will help us tremendously as we embark on this extremely long and costly journey.
