- Hi everyone! My name is KATINA BOCK, and I’m raising money for a cause that means a lot to me. Surfers Healing comes to VB once a year and surfs 400+ kids. They get breakfast and lunch (chicos and chick fil a) they have an area blocked off with chairs and umbrellas. There are many tents full of resources for our kiddos. No age limit or size limit they still surf Hayden. It truly is one of the most amazing events to watch. I have not missed a year since Hayden was 4(he’s 17) if he’s not surfing I volunteer, believe it or not volunteering is so much fun. I have new volunteer buddies, Jodie Frame and her kids Morgan and Trenton. Our long time friends Mike and Doreen hall. This event is so special to me. It’s our favorite day of the year. As a mom with a kid with profound autism, being able to have an entire day of fun on the beach without worrying about the dirty looks, whispers and people moving away from you is absolutely priceless, and they get to surf! They get a swag bag and all the tents have treats and toys for them. pLEASE HELP ME GIVE BACK to a charity that have the biggest hearts on this planet!
